Simple Summer Hair
Summer brings hot weather, pools, and outdoor activities. However, summer also brings heat, humidity, and frizz. Most of us don’t want to sacrifice our good looks or consume our summer days with timely styling. The good news is…There are plenty of summer trends that are quick, easy, and allow us to save time, stay cool, all while looking and feeling our best!
Beautiful Braids
Whether you’re looking for day two styling or just a quick and easy way to get that hair out of the way look no further than a braid. Braids are very popular this season, making styling quick and easy for all hair types, lengths, and textures! Looking for ways to spice things up? Try starting the braid with a steep part , add multiple braids, or pull the braid apart for a more relaxed look. Be beach ready by adding a hat or head band to a fish tail braid. Lastly if you’re looking for pop of color try braiding in a colorful sheer scarf.
Beach Buns
If braiding has you tied up try the classic bun which is always in! You can’t go wrong with a classic. Wear a high bun, low bun, or twist. Simply twist some hair in separate sections into a ponytail then twist up and pin. You’ll stay cool and chic all day long.
Wash -n- Go
When summer finally arrives I want to take advantage of every moment while it lasts. I want to spend more time outside enjoying the warm weather and less time in the bathroom primping. However, I don’t have the type of hair that you can just wash and go. But not to worry I’ve created my own wash and go look by adding some Aveda Confixor or Brilliant Retexturizing Gel to my hair and sleeking back creating a mock wet look that dries sleek.
