Summer Festivals
Summer is almost over, but it’s not too late to go out and experience what Chicago has to offer.  We are lucky to have one of the greatest cities right at our finger tips.  Unfortunately, I don’t think we take advantage of exploring the different types of entertainment that the city of Chicago gives us.  Here are a few of the summer festivals and events that I think are a must for this summer.
Rock Around the Block
 Dates: July 7-8
 Location: Lakeview
 Price: $5 suggested donation
 Great food and street vendors add to this overall rock -out festival.
Taste of Chicago
Dates: July 11-15
Location: Grant Park
Price: Free
Food and drink tickets:$8 per strip
A great way to taste everything this awesome food city has to offer
Gold Coast Art Fair
Dates: June 30-July 1
Location: Butler Field, Grant Park
Price: Free
The Gold Coast Art Fair is one of the top 20 art festivals in the nation.

Lollapalooza
Dates: August 3-5
Location: Grant Park
Price: $95
Thousands of music fans will come from across the country for Lollapalooza, which may very well be the concert event of the year.
Wrigleyville Summerfest
Date: August 4-5
Location: Wrigleyville
Price: $5
Not your average festival, Wrigleyville SummerFest features a Kids Zone with interactive games and family-friendly activities during the day in addition to the live music, beer, and savory flavors that Chicagoans know and love.
Chicago Air and Water Show
Dates: August 18-19

Price: Free
The Chicago Air and Water Show is the largest FREE show of its kind in the United States. The show can be viewed along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as the focal point.
