Melissa is one of our talented Estheticians and Make-Up Artists at our South Barrington location. She started doing Esthetics in 2009 and has been with Spa Bleu for almost three years.
Who is your mentor?
My mother not just because she is the strongest person I know but the most caring and sophisticated woman, I hope to be as successful as she is.
What is one food you couldn’t live without?
Avocados, I even love them plain.
What inspires you?
The look on someones face when you can tell they feel great after a service, it’s why I love my job.
What attracted you to Spa Bleu?
I worked at the Aveda experience center and heard so many great things about Spa Bleu and loved the teamwork atmosphere.
What is your favoirte Aveda product?
Green Science Firming Eye Creme because I believe it to be the fountain of youth, I’ve been using it since I was 20.
What is one thing your guests probably don’t know about you?
I used to work at the Jelly Belly Factory in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin giving tours around the factory.
What is your favorite candy bar?
Anything dark chocolate!
