Our Aveda Shine Treatment is a demi-permanent treatment designed to add instant conditioning and shine, lasting up to 20 washes. It’s available at both our West Dundee and South Barrington salon locations and is one of our Summer Specials for just $30.
There are lots of ways for your hair to lose the luster you once took for granted. Heat styling, frequent washing, chemical treatments and greys creeping in (and changing hair texture) all play a part in reducing shine. Luckily, about 20 minutes at the shampoo bowl at Spa Bleu can bring it back.
Aveda’s 93% naturally-derived formula contains certified organic plant oils like kukui, sunflower, castor and jojoba to visibly improve the condition of damaged, dry or dull hair and infuse it with radiant, lasting shine. It also adds a layer of SPF protection, perfect for you sun-drenched beauties.
The default treatment is a clear gloss, though you can add a hint of warmth or coolness to give your existing color a little boost and blend away grey. It’s an ideal way to revive your hair color or give it a subtle change.
