New Aveda Vibrants have added a whole range of exciting colors to the Aveda color family. Whether it’s blues, purples, greens or pinks (or any other color you can think of), Aveda’s 95% naturally derived hair color has a way to get you the color of your wildest dreams without parabens or other synthetic ingredients that can harm your hair.
Going pink can be just for fun, but if you’re looking for motivation, try making it into a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness!
If you’re looking for a noble cause to help you take the plunge, this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. Raise money by going pink for the month of October—similar to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving fundraisers—and donate to the breast cancer charity of your choice!

There are other ways to help, too, if pink hair is too big of a commitment! Aveda has raised over $4.7 million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 2001. One of the ways they contribute is by releasing a special limited-edition version of their Hand Relief Moisturizing Creme, where a portion of the proceeds go to fund cruelty-free research for the BCRF.
October is here and it’s time to go pink or go home!
